no one can prove it, no one tried to, we all knew that those kids would be special athletes no matter where they played, the Harmon kid I can understand, that is just a move in the county, seen it happen many times, but the parents usually dont wait until between 8th and 9th grades to do it, the others, moving in from WV, not sure what their incentive was, but with HH coming off 3 state championships, who knows, funny thing is that they had to drive right past Belfry to get from Logan to Pikeville, never could understand why Joplin played at Pikeville when his dad coached Phelps

didnt the good basketball shooter from P-Burg come to Valley a few years back for his junior and senior years, I'm no homer, just calling it as i see it

Not to mention that arguably the best current SV B-ball player lives at Phelps. I didnt think you could get from Phelps to Virgie without a helicopter being involved LOL! Like has been said on here before good players are drawn to good programs without back room deals and rubber stamp jobs being given to players or their families. While I dont doubt this has taken place in the past. I think all these wild recruiting stories are something blown way out of proportion by these other schools who use it as an excuse rather than admit that they have inferior programs and these kids left because they felt they had a better shot at a state title elsewhere.
