I terminated one with Appalachian one time and had to pay through the nose and their service was shotty..... The other option would be to go down to bare bones on the one phone and go ahead and get an ATT plan!It must have been a while back that you had Appalachian Wireless huh?

Termination fees here at Appalachian Wireless are prorated based on the amount of time you have left on your contract. It is $10.00 for every month you have left on the contract. Example: you have 7 months left, it would be $70.00 plus your current bill. I believe AT&T charges you $170.00 no matter how much time you have left. Basically the only way to get out of them are to tell them you are moving out of their service area and have to switch carriers, or that the person, who's name the account is in, died. Even then you have to provide a death certificate. Other than that, odds aren't too good. However, try the moving out of the service area thing. It might work, and it might not, but it is your best shot.
