When I played the often called us "hogs" or non-skill.

However, one year at Carson-Newman Lineman camp I heard the best nickname for linemen.

They called us "shrooms" or "mushrooms"

They said it was because we eat shit, yet we still grow...in size and mind.

Kind of like a mushroom...ya know.
