It is the responsibility of the defense to keep the offense out of the end zone, and Breathitt is a young team that needs practice in a "live" environment. The score was what 35-6 in the 4th? That is bad but not bad enough to call off the dogs in my opinion, especially when you need the practice and confidence.

I can by the practice in a game situation and the confidence thing. The only problem I have is that Boyd pulled Wilson and most of the other starters to get the younger players some time. Why not let Breathitts younger players get some snaps as well?


You are right though. It is the defenses responsibility to keep the offense out of the endzone. And I knew from seeing Boyd's defense they would not be able to do that in this game.
