If the AP wants to put Allen Central and Paintsville in front of the Panthers, then more power to them. What will matter is who comes out on top in the district games, and playoffs. But congrats to both programs on their early season successes.
Paintsville and pikecille's schedules are fairly close. They both play P-burg, JCHS and Belfry are their respective biggest opponents, but Paintsville plays Sheldon Clark and Raceland and those 2 IMO are better than Corbin and Ashland, so Lex Cath evens their schedules out.
I could care less about the rankings though. They mean nothing and I have never seen a "ranking score a touchdown! LOL
