Lets get something straight, nobody is saying Breathitt is not a great program and yes we no about the 3 state champinships. Just look at there power rating, they are not in the top 40 in the state and yes i know we will here the 3a issue." so what". You say Breathitt wont run from anyone? Do you see anyone on there schedule in the past 10 years that they should not have beat????? Regular season.Let them play some schools from lexington or if they are so good Trinty and ST.X are always looking for a game, but as you no Holcomb would not take that beating and i would not blame him. Just rember you can only put youre best 11 on the field. Breathitt is rich in tradition and i respect that, i just dont respect that everybody down there in Jackson think there team is un touchable but we saw that not to be true in there first 2 games.

The first two games this year Breathitt was the underdog. They paid out of a contract to get Johnson Central on the shedule. They play Lexington Christian which is one of the best recruiting scools in Ky. The have some of the Louisville school's because that is all that would schedule them. They have also beaten other Lexington schools. I know Holcomb will play anyone, they have to when they get invited to these bowl games (Rec Bowl). I don't see why Breathitt people can't think their team is untouchable when everyone else in the mountains thinks their team is the same way, for example, Belfry, Russell, Letcher Central, Hazard just to name a few. BTW, there have several teams in the past 10 years they should not have beaten but have with a little luck on their side and some good ole' home town referees. Power ratings are just numbers generated by a computer. The computer does not know how good a team is or the strength of the teams they have beat, it only sees numbers.
