People say no suprise. Fairview is a tough team and may very well win their district this season. Fairview is made up of big guys. For stats all I have is scoring not real sure on yardage and stuff.

Hans Doderer scored for Paintsville from 3 yards out.
Daniel Pugh ran for 37 yard TD and threw 2 more TD passes.
T.J. Freno caught one TD pass, while Kevin Williams caught the other.
Andrew Brown and Kevin Williams both had fumble recoveries on defense.
Hans Doderer had an INT.

I think he meant that in a good way.. We all know Painstville gonna be tough this year. That is No Surprise. They were good last year and young. I would of been very surprised if they lost this game. I will be very surprised if anyone other than Pikeville can beat them in the district.

I know he meant no suprise. But I think Fairview needs more credit than what is given. Fairview is a good football team as well, and to be honest I didn't know if the Tigers could go into Fairview and pull out a win. An ex-cross town rival's coach had the Tigers number while at Johnson Central, no suprise he's in the administration and an assistant at Fairview. He left JC for the Fairview head coaching job and turned their program back around in the right direction. I think Bill Musick won 8 of 10 Apple Bowls he coached in but I may be wrong on that stat. Fairview needs more credit, and that's just MHO. Paintsville may be good but Pikeville's had their number previously as has South Floyd in more recent years. Hazard seems to be in the right direction, laying it on cross town foe, Perry Central tonight. Remember this is the same Perry Central team that beat Pikeville in a scrimmage last week. So give Hazard some credit too. I'm worried about all 3 district foes along with Johnson Central and Prestonsburg. A 5-5 season would be unexpected and very big disappointment as would a 4th seed in the district but it is possible. Although Paintsville's good and experienced don't bet on the Tigers pulling out victories against all of them. Paintsville has the talent and the sky is the limit but it's up to them and sitting here on the board saying their good and should be in title game with Pikeville in the last week isn't enough. Remember guys if you want it you still have to work for it.

You know Mojo, you are correct in saying the Tigers could lose 5 games this year. It wouldn't be a shame ofr 5 losses either. Hazard must be the real deal this year and could end up winning the district.

PHS could end up being the #3 seed. You might see 3 teams from our district in the semis of the region. At any rate, our region WILL NOT make it past the semis of the state. NCC or Beechwood will end up at Papa's.

I know I'm correct, teams don't play to roll over for someone else. But if you thing 5-5 wouldn't be a disappointment your nuts. Ask BMR if he'd be satisified with 5-5 with 3rd in the district. I said it's possible, I didn't say it would happen. I think if they lose to Hazard they better hide their faces for awhile. They beat Hazard last season, and while Hazard lost one of the Top receivers in the state, Paintsville lost a player that had a negative effect on his team. My statement is to not settle at 5-5, and BMR will not settle at 5-5. You can't just think you're good and teams are going to rollover. BUt if the scenerio plays out like you mention, then it would be A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I think Paintsville has a shot at the district and the region. Now to say Hazard is the real deal after one week into the season is ludicrous.
