I don't see 5 losses for the Tigers. I only see 4 teams capable of beating PHS: Prestonsburg, Hazard, Pikeville, and JCHS.

IF they do lose those 4 games, it's not a "woe is me situation." The Tigers shouldn't be hanging their heads in shame and disappointment. I don't think I'd want the Tigers to be disappointed to the point they don't learn from the losses. If they learn from a loss and turn a regular season loss to a playoff win, that will prove my point.

Remember 2002, the Tigers lost at home to Fleming Neon in a very ugly game. They didn't get disappointed and give up. They turned the season around and beat Fleming Neon in the region final at Fleming Neon in a rout.

If they lose to Hazard and then hide their faces, then they will be throwing in the towel for the rest of the season. They should take a que from the 2002 Tigers and take their lumps (if they get any lumps) and then scratch and claw their way back.

I'm not saying hang your heads and give up on a season if you lose a game. But I can guarentee you, if they lose to 3 teams from that list I wouldn't want to be on BMR's team. Two different coaches, two different attitudes. When I say hide their faces, I mean it because BMR will be livid and I'm sure he'd be eating faces the following week. Yeah you take losses as a learning experience, but you're never satisfied with a loss and you should be disappointed if you lose especially to someone you're suppose to win against.

Sure looks to me as if you say that it's okay if Paintsville loses 5 games. I still say it would be a shame and a disappointment.
