Great post. It is true the American people vote for who they think will give the largest free lunch. We need to cut spending, not increase it. This country has turned into a country of gimme gimme gimme. Like I said in another thread, I think I will file bankruptcy and get on the draw, then I will be in the majority.

You say we need to cut spending, but McCain's proposed policies and plans would have used more money than Obama's. I posted those numbers in a thread a while back.

I also hear a lot of Republicans saying "we need to cut spending and Barack shouldn't spread the wealth." But those same Republicans are happy that McConnell won and he will bring tons of money to the state.
