If neither of the two schools involved in given transfer have a problem, the paperwork is signed and all are happy. However, a "party of interest" (yes, that's what it's called) may request a KHSAA review - that's the "objected" part.

You still didn't answer the question. Again, who from Belfry objected? Since I have no idea, and you obviously do, I'm genuinely interested in knowing this.

And if the transfer was legitimate, with regard to KHSAA rules, wouldn't it have held up under KHSAA review no matter who reported it?

As to the bolded part, I don't think the transfer process is that simple. Every transfer is ineligible for 1 year. But they can apply for a waiver of that year if they meet certain criteria. That is what the KHSAA has to review. Both schools signing off is not a guarantee of anything no matter if there are interested parties or not.

You didn't know what an "interested party" was. But just in case it's bad for Belfry, you claim it's OK because the Belfry alumni-led KHSAA Board of Control voted against the transfer. You also think P-burg had to be wrong because they got in trouble for something unrelated two years later. And... you don't think Coach Derossett's morals are legit because it has to do with a team that has beaten him.

The Board of Control had one member who was formerly an employee of Belfry High School. That is one member out of 15. You're saying that he voted against Yates just because he was from Belfry, that he ignored the facts of the case, and that he influenced the other 14 members to do the same?

Consipiracy Theory Alert!!! And this is all the more funny because Prestonsburg actually believes Belfry is responsible for their problems and infidelities with the KHSAA.

And for the record, I didn't question John's morals. I said it was ironic that he decided to exercise them and refuse to play Belfry after a few years of Belfry kicking Pburg around. If Pburg had won the last 2 or 3 meetings would he have declined to play them in 2007 and 2008? I doubt it.
