The good news of the Gospel suggested to poor people, "poor" not simply defnined as economic poverty, but also dispossessed, forgotten, basically, the least and last and lost of the earth that their very poverty was a sign of "god's" nearness. Of course, in the Lexxus Gospel, this is ignored. In early Acts, all the believers were gathered and shared possessions and were known for this. That's where I'm coming up with that. Jesus didn't check with Adam Smith or Keynes to form an economic strategy.
