From what I understand, Hazard traveled to Rockcastle County where they played essentially three quarters of varsity football. At the end of the first quarter the score was 0 - 0. At the end of the second quarter, it was tied 7 - 7 and then in the third quarter Hazard turned on the jets, with the help of their passing game, and the final score was 21 - 7, as Hazard's defense held a much larger Rockcastle squad scoreless. Of course, this was a scrimmage, but nevertheless we are really proud of our Bulldogs and feel this is quite an accomplishment, as Rockcastle always fields a good football team. Anytime a 1A squad plays tough against a 4A team, it has to make you feel better.
