Breathitt beat Breathitt, and SC played the game they needed to play to pull off the upset. People want to react to this as it were a normal game, but it was an upset and more times than not, the Bobcats would catch the balls that they missed and this game would not even be talked about anymore. penalties played a small factor, but poor execution by the Bobcats played the biggest role IMO.

Poor execution does not get you shut out if you are the dominant team as Breathitt fans continually suggest. The Sheldon Clark defense shut down Breathitt. Drops and penalties happen every game.

It is making me sick to my stomach to defend SC, but the fact remains that most Breathitt people view this as being an Act of God that SC won and that Breathitt is still on another level than them.. I continue to say that arguement does not hold water. Breathitt County may very well beat them if they play again, in fact I would predict Breathitt to win, but people have got to give SC the respect they earned.

If I were to proclaim that last year Breathitt would only beat Belfry "1 out of 10 times and that one time was the Semi's", or if I were to say that "Belfry was hands down the best team in the mountain's in 3A last year", or that "Breathitt didn't beat Belfry, Belfry beat themselves". I would have the entire town of Jackson descend upon me. Those examples are every bit as true as what numerous Breathitt fans are trying to put this game off as.
