Prestonsburg has played both. Varney is a great player, but there really is no contest. Fugate in a landslide. He has all the tools: great size, great speed, and really hard to bring down.

The only area where I think Varney has the edge is in heart. Fugate just seems lackadasical at times. People used to say the same thing about Tayshaun Prince at UK, and he is getting paid pretty well to play now. This may just be Fugate's style. I have seen Fugate play 3-4 times now, and it seems like when he gets up from a play, he always limps back to the huddle, hands on his hips, and looks like he is ready to topple over at any time. Of course, more often than not, he would break the next run for a huge gain. I sometimes think he plays possum...

I would love to see these two teams go head to head.
