It's way to hard to judge if one player is better than another when you don't tie all factors together. Coming into the season, the college scouts chose Channing for a reason, and this is his ability to continue to do at the next level. The number of backs in the entire state that can perform at a D1 level is minimal, but I certainly think that Channing deserves the credit that he has attained. IMO, he and Simpson are on one level, and many others are striving to get to that level.
