Belfry still has the best player/players and coaches. Shelby Valley has improved their program and I personally think that is great. However, to say that SV is the best in the county is ludicrous. At the district tournament last year, I had a solution for the SV/ Belfry debate. SV was laying in to the Pirates on the basketball court and I suggested that they should have played the first half of the game on the basketball court and then switch and play the rest of the game between the football teams on the football field.
