This has got a Johnson Central upset win written all over it.

Upset?

Is no one considering the quality of competition JC has played coming right out of the gate? Especially with a bunch of young kids, throw in key injury's, two deaths of coaches mothers just as the season started, and suspensions to compound the start.

I think that everyone's thoughts on a lot of teams can maybe be traced to the performance of one single team. Perhaps Breathitt Co. is just not as good as everyone thought they might be. Thus, with the high expectations of Breathitt, maybe Sheldon Clark is over rated just a tad, as is Lawrence just because they beat SC. Pburg was also not expected to be as strong as what they are not perceived to be. Could that be another example of Breathitt not being as good as advertised? Or does it say that PBurg is better? Could it be that the team that some tabbed as the pinnicle and compared everyone else to is just plain and simply overrated. Perhaps it just shows that Bell and Boyle are just on a different level than everyone else. Ironic that JC played both of them and everyone else has not played those types of teams. I think a lot will be answered with the SC/JC matchup. If SC beats JC handily then that will put current thoughts and rankings in a percieved proper perspective. BUT, if JC handles SC in a dominating fashion, perhaps that would lead to credence of my former statement, that it all points back to my theory that perhaps Breathitt was not the right team to be used as a bench mark, and that all thoughts on several teams are derived from the TRICKLE DOWN EFFECT of Breathitt's dismal start. Anyone with thoughts and opinions on that?
