I agree. Why do you think they have Russell Brand hosting the VMA's? He says and does what he wants which draws attention to the show.

As far as what Kanye did, I too thought it was very classless, but some of you are taking the "rascist card" a little too far. You do realize some of the people he's performed with and who some of his closer friends are, right? I personally think MTV scripted it, so let's not jump to conclusions. (Trust me, I'm not defending him because I can't stand his music)

It was nice of Beyonce to do what she did though. Her comment about remembering when she was 17 (same age as Taylor) and being up for an award and then asking Taylor to come back out and finish her speech was very classy. One of the reasons why Beyonce is one of the most well liked pop/hip hop singers.

I highly doubt they would have scripted this. This isn't the first time Kanye has had an outburst at the awards or about the awards like some have already said. Not only that, why would they script something that would humiliate Taylor Swift, what has she done to deserve that.

And Taylor is 19 by the way, not 17.

As for Russell Brand, i can't stand him. Him hostin the show is the reason I didn't watch it. They would be better off havin someone like Samuel L. Jackson hostin the show.
