Black panther in Lexington?
#1
Per WKYT:

http://www.wkyt.com/home/headlines/59570317.html

Rumors have been flying for more than a week that black panther is prowling around the Winburn neighborhood in Lexington. Today police admitted to being overwhelmed and frustrated with all the confused and panicked calls. So we went to the experts to get answers. Officials with the Kentucky Division of Fish and Wildlife say the "panther spotters" are most likely mistaken.

Many large house cats have been mistaken for mountain lions say Wildlife officials. Authorities also think that people could be mistaking a coyote (which can be black) for a panther.

Authorities say the best way to put the panther rumors to rest is to get proof. If someone actually sees the panther they are asked to take a picture or video of it. That evidence can then be analyzed, and the truth about the panther can finally be told.

So there you go Lexington residents. Just track down the panther, snap a few photos of it, and when they find your dead, half-eaten body, at least you'll have proof!
