[all-or-nothing]

I would like to hear the thoughts of some of the SV faithful who were in attendance last night.

Well, when I first walked in and saw your players, I thought, "Wow. They're big." Then, when I sat down, I thought, "Wow, there's a lot of them." lol

The first half was some awesome football. I was very excited, thinking the game would be close! I think LC's guys had to be just a little surprised at how strong (some of) our players are. We made some really good stops at crucial moments. But, we also didn't capitalize on some big plays....a couple of interceptions were very close...but close doesn't count.

THe second half was a different story. The fact is that our guys were just flat worn out. We were impressed with LC's switching of teams on and off the field. It seemed that fresh players were always running out, and our guys...well, most of them play both sides of the ball and special teams, so it took a toll.

Overall, we were beaten by a team with fresher legs and outcoached in the second half. Nothing personal against our coaching staff....I love 'em, but it seemed we didn't have an answer to the passing game, and that's definitely GOT to change.

I still think we have the talent and potential to be the best 2A team in the region. But last night, we could not have beaten Prestonsburg's passing game, and I hope and pray that will be remedied in the weeks to come.

Congrats to LC on the win. And, congrats to the Wildcats for not quitting. This team has more heart than any I've seen in the Valley in many years. Good luck to both.
