We will see if he deserves the award come Tuesday. If he can keep coalminers from storming the White House he may just deserve it. But I have a huge problem with someone getting the award that hasn't done much to bring peace anywhere but some suburb of Boston. Plus how much of a peace maker is someone that is openly trying to bankrupt an industry and leave millions out of work?

Upon hearing that President Obama had won the Nobel Peace Prize, I too expressed some reservations - mostly because he had only been in office a week and a half when he was nominated for the award. However, after reflecting on events for a few days I have come to appreciate just how much President Obama deserved the award. So, please join me in congratulating our dear leader for his spectacular accomplishments.

In attacking the coal industry, Obama is only making good on some campaign promises, Obama pledged that if we elected him that electric prices would skyrocket and that utilities foolish enough to build coal-fired power plants would be put out of business. No coal - no coal-fired power plants. Wind farms will be coming to a neighborhood near you soon.

If people wanted to work for a living, then they would not have voted for Obama. To blame Obama for keeping campaign promises is just plain wrong. Under a McCain administration, our capitalist system would have died a much slower death. Americans voted for change and Obama is delivering. What more could Obama fans expect?

Is it not most American's dream to stay at home while a postal service employee delivers a government check to their door? Is it not the president's job to take care of all of the nation's citizens (and undocumented guests) from cradle to grave?

Obama travels abroad and attacks our country in his speeches so that our enemies will not feel compelled to attack us. Think of Obama's attacks as a flu shot against terror attacks.

Obama is moving hundreds of border guards from our southern border to our northern border. In doing so, President Obama has sent a clear message to Canada that we will not tolerate any threats to peace from our northern neighbor. Did George W. Bush even recognize the impending Canadian threat to peace? No he did not.

Obama deserved the Nobel Peace Prize for his bold, innovative approach to national security. Even this nation's enemies like Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro are praising President Obama because they are not smart enough to recognize true genius at work. Obama hugs tyrants like Chavez so that the rest of us never have to.
