Your comments show exactly why almost every EMT / Medic hates to see a nurse or doctor on scene of an accident when they roll up. Other than Flight nurses whom are use to having to think on their feet in an uncontrolled setting, the others are usually no help at all on a trauma scene. You don't need to be in the field at all if you are that concerned about coming into contact with something. Guess what sometimes you actually have to help patients that are bleeding without having any PPE for yourself.
