You act as if heterosexual males will suddenly become gay and have relations with gay males if they're in the military. But not in civilian life. Do you have any clue how many AIDS tests we do a month on our soldiers? Its incredible. These are required tests, that are performed on routine basis. With gay males already in the military (and my understanding is that the number will rise only minimally, because most gays just lie and join anyways), and the EXTREMELY low hiv rate as compared to the general public... I can't understand what the big deal is. Further, what would you do if a femoral was cut in an accident on one of your full blown aids patients? Let them bleed out while you put on a space suit? Come on. Quit being scared. Its just a virus. You can only catch it once.
