Bucs my only complaint is this I think you can agree to this when reading my post. The problem I have is when a kid has an outstanding game such as Aaron against Fleming and it not being mentioned...You basically said that since the game was not covered by EKB that it is up to the fans to relay that information...Even though as a communications major I know that it is up to the radio station, tv station or newspaper journalist to do the research for themselves, or maybe that is my own biased view...I think its stupied that Chapman turns EKB down for interviews however, that is not his persona to do interviews, as I said many ppl in the media field have issues with the way he carries him self with the media which is factul from what I have been told...

I think you are right. I can only speak for myself. Sometimes the only stats I know are from the team I cover, which is Belfry. I tend to rely on KHSAA for some of the stats I get and we all know that Chapman doesn't turn them in. Some of our guys work full-time at the station. Some of us do not. If i have a crazy day at my job, which most are, I sometimes do not have the time to research some of the kids, and how they did in the previous game, before our show. I agree that we should all try to be dilligent in gathering this information, but to be honest, I just browse through the local paper, and I rarely read an article in depth, unless it is one of Rick Bentley's personal articles that he is so good at. A lot of the info and feedback we get comes from BGR and word of mouth. In the future, I will try my best to get as much information as I can about such great performances, and if some people on here could pm me if a kid has a great night, and somehow we don't know about it, that would be appreciated. I do believe McGuire and some of those kids have been overlooked, and maybe all this success they are having will turn that around. I will do my part in seeing that happens.
