I suggest the both of you take a creative writing class and find some better metaphors.

Or is that just the way you're wired? With a tendency to use violence the threat of violence or just the reference of violence to make a point.

Please help my non-violent dove brain figure it all out.

I did take a creative writing class at UK. I believe that class was where i first heard that term. That or my public speaking class. I didn't think it was a cry for violence but a cry for a revolution.
