NXT is for developing new talent. Since there has been no competition, it certainly appears that WWE is wasting time, but no way. They stil draw over 1.0 viewership, which is still tops for all cable television shows. They make a ton of money off of both NXT and Smackdown, thus is would be dumb to discontinue these shows. If TNA can make any headway in viewership, then the quality of all the shows will do well. But financially, WWE is making MONEY!
