Pike Central 69 - Hazard 57
#31
What would PC be w/o Hobo & Dylan?
JC without Skaggs/Parker?
Perry w/o the Cornett's?
BL w/o Adkins & Martin?

Mountain Wrote:Pike Central has 3 kids that can really score the basketball. Hobo may be the best guard in the mountains.

Big win for PC on the road. Hazard isn't the first team Hobo has torched this year and they won't be the last, the boy can flat out score the ball and when he is on he can pretty much carry a team.:flame:

it doesnt matter who was out due to injury or whatever the circumstance may be. pike central won, hobo torched them scoring 38 points and it went down in the books as a W for pike central. AND PLEASE DONT START THIS ALLAN BOGGS BULL SH** ON HERE. EVERYONE IS TIRED OF IT!!

Congrats to Pike Central

Alright, you all are right, Hazard did have two starters out who are very talented. But the way that McCoy and Meade were hitting it did not matter who was guarding them. They won by 12 points. It was not a 1 or 2 point game. And even without those 2 playing, they are still a very talented team. Pike Central had a starter out and Blake Clark didnt play the second half due to injury. It was a good game and a great win by the Hawks becuase that Hazard team even without the two starters are as good as most teams in the 15th region. Congrats to the Hawks and Coach Carwile!

The 1st picture is Hobo McCoy

The 2nd picture is just a big group photo

The 3rd picture is Alan Boggs

I'm not sure who that is in the 4th picture.

The last picture is Freshman Marcus Johnson

I think that was probably the JV game.

Everyone talks about Holland being a top coach in the 14th then shouldn't have his team won this game with or with out some players. Or, is it the players that have made Holland seam like a great coach?

How many games would UK win without TJ and Knight? Not many.

So it's about the players not the coaching?

It is one game!If losing one game with 2 key players out nullifies 600 victories and 9 regional titles then there isn't a good coach in Kentucky. I also guess Coach Cal isn't a good coach at all it's just his players, as well as Phil Jackson, John wooden, Billy Hicks, Randy Napier, and so on.
