Also, many teams could have a kid run for 150 yards a game if they get to carry it 35x!

Gettin closer to game day and I am getting excited. I just wish that Coach Stephens could have taken over before the season started because as good as Southwestern is, they're still taking big strides in getting better, executing their plays, and limiting mistakes! As I always say, the team that wins, will be the team the executes their plays the best and has few or no mistakes. On Friday, I think that team will be Southwestern!

I'll be in Newport where hopefully we bring a nice following as well, but I'll definitely stay updated and will be pulling for the Warriors! Good luck Southwestern, hopefully we will both be there to root each other on in Bowling Green next weekend!

I think the problem Anderson Co will face is I don't think they will be able to handle our defense . I hope they are ready for a hard hittning game cause I know the Warriors are. As far as you are supposed to be in the state game, let's play it before we put you there! :devilflam

Bill Rose's extra-point kick gave the Bearcats their first region title in the program's 63-year history. The late-game drama left Anderson County Coach Mark Peach emotionally drained. "I told the guys they don't have to show character like that every week, that it's OK to take an early lead and never relinquish it," Peach said with a laugh. The Bearcats host Southwestern Friday night. Peach called the Warrriors' Dustin Powell "a fantastic high school running back" and said he's also impressed by versatile threat Alan Williams and lineman Rob Lewis. "All you have to do is put in the tape, and it doesn't take long to see how good Southwestern is," Peach said.

Seeing Southwestern get to the title game would be sweet for the area. (I'm putting Somerset and Boyle in the same area, but close enough.) After playing you guys for years, it would be great to see you in the title game.
