yeah i think he will be arlight.. he will get to set this one out and get some more time to heal up.

Anxious to watch Collett at QB again. I think it would be a duel threat to spread Ozzy out as a receiver too and mix it up. He is very athletic and with Colletts arm and Ozzy's ability. It could cause some problems for some teams. Oz has very good hands.

tazcat Wrote:Well I am no fan of Bell County for many reasons, for one it amazes me how kids from between Middlesboro and Pineville can be so much better than kids from Pineville and Middlesboro every season. Coaching...nah, feeder system...nah. Recruiting...well thats another topic. Hey whatever works. Im a realist and Middlesboro has no chance to win this game in any way shape or form. The Bell County allstar team would wax Pineville and Middlesboro combined.

Bell 60 70 plus
Boro 6

You dont have a clue what your talking about. It isthe feeder programs. Pineville want play Bell in any grade K-8. Middlesboro does play K-6 but not
7&8 grades. Middlesboro's 5-6 grades has not beat Bell in 4 tries maybe 6. The closes they came was last yr. which bell won 22-21 ITS ALL ABOUT THE FEEDER PROGRAMS:devilflam

Bell wins big.
#35
Bell will win big running clock 2nd half

Corey Osalonian is out for the season, tore ACL, if he plays, coaches said he wil have no college career
#37
Oslonian being done for the season would be HUGE.

Is this true bobcat fans?
#38
I heard today Corey is out for the season but the paper says at least 3 weeks! Pray he gets to come back

It didn't look good on Friday night. Collett the freshman QB looks great. He will be ready to go. Collett has a cannon of a arm.

There is never anything fortuitous about a season ending injury, but if there is a silver lining in all of this it is the fact it happened so early in the season so that Bell's FRESH QB will have an entire season to mature and get the kinks out.

I hope Oslonian is able to recover and go on to play college ball somewhere if this is true.

So is the official word on Oslonian is that he's done for the season.
#42
He is out for 5 weeks and will def be back for Harlan Co game.
#43
The Dr. thinks Oz has a sprained knee or torn MCL. Worst case he will be out 3-5 weeks. They are doing an MRI sometime this week. As always I hate to hear of any kid on any team getting hurt. Especially a Sr.

Watching them run the ball last night and listening to the Bryan Station fans talk about how no other team on their schedule runs that power offense really makes the point that if you have the size advantage you can be successful not having a real pass attack. Bell will continue to win as long as they have that advantage.

Lou. Central is 3A and I dare say they would disagree with too big and strong for any team in 3A
#45
Oh yeah, Bell kills Middlesboro

bell co.72 middlesboro 06 running clock after halftime 64sur

Bell recruit hahaha. The only
Kid they have had that could be considered a recruit would be the Patterson boy that was in the 2011 senior class. And he had family history from bell. Plus he was a stick when he came to bell. Not like he was a beast everyone wanted. And he still sat out a year.

And the Hudson kid and his family moved from Jackson county not anywhere close. Smh. People make me sick.

This may not be a popular mind set, but I think with Oslonian out for this time, Collett should take over as the full time qb throughout the rest of the season. Oslonian has waited his time, and has looked pretty good throwing the ball this year, but the snap problems still exist. If I were coach Mills, I would just leave Collett in as the starter. He's a freshman and will make some mistakes, but by the end of the year he will be coming into his own, and have 3 more years at it. Kinda similar to the Kyle Nelson situation when he took over as a starter early his freshman year. Plus like others has said, Oslonian is a crazy freak athlete, he can split out at WR and play TE and make the offense that much more explosive. Imagine him on an end around with the ability to throw the ball or run it. But, I'm not coach Mills and it's his decision.

This Bell County team I think isnt all that like the Bell County faithfuls want to believe and with or without Oslonian they will not win State , sorry to burst y'alls bubbles and IMHO the gap between M'boro and Bell County definitely closing.

I would hope the gap is closing. If not what is M'boro doing? IMO it was more than a gap more like a universe.

Keep hating us because you can never be us. :ChairHit:
