Microbrew seemed to be on point. His summation is very insiteful. Bigred nobody expected Williamsburg to beat Hazard last year. They were starting 6 freshmen on both sides of the ball. Hazard was loaded last year. Ask Mayfield if you don't believe me. Hazard is not as good as last year but they are still very good. Williamsburg's freshmen are just sophomores this year. Next year will be the Jackets year.

I agree.. Williamsburgs shot will be next year but they do have a good chance of beating hazard. But if they are to beat hazard @ hazard then they must not turn the ball over and score early and often to win.

You guy's are so funny! Your team suddenly turns out to not be hardly as good as thought and told everyone they were,(GRC 0-6 and they played you that close at home 23-14),and your coach's future is hanging in the balance so you're gonna try and cause a little trouble for HHS. If you're gonna troll dude you ought take a lesson or too from Wideright or Lefty cause you aren't very good at it. I also heard that Coach Larkey was promising his coaching job to his son. Sounds kinda like when Brooks promised the job to Joker Phillips. Well,I hope you have better luck with that one than the Cat's did. Not looking too good though. Have a good one BC!!!

Bear claw should put his claws back in his paw, his post for the last week or so have been , to day the least, ridiculous and a lot of heresy. Anyone who goes on a public forum and questions the integrity of a coach and his accomplishments past and present based on heresy is pretty bad and to try and run down a kid who has dedicated much of his life to being the best athlete he can be is even worse (knox central) Coaches turn in stats to khsaa weekly and many do it differently, if he would check his mighty HC stats he would see that some of them are "padded" as well (135 tackles for the team in one game). Back to the thread, if harlan plays like I saw against LC they have a good shot. I thought P burg would give hazard a better game. Hazard is still the team to beat. Good luck to both.

Well I am not smart enough to copy and paste but anyway....Backwoods it post just shows how ignorant you are about the situation at HC...first off Larkey can't hire a football coach....second second off, we could beat the city by as much as we want....I mean, you got blanked by Williamsburg....I think it was 36-0....wow!!!! I would like for you to play GRC....I bet they beat you worse than Williamsburg did. And third we don't have a coaching dilemma....trust me...we will have coaches coming out of the wood work wanting this job when and IF Larkey decides to leave...I mean we have a mountain power program within 5 years of existance AND we have one if not the nicest football facility in the nation...yes nation.

Hazard played a hard schedule Harlan played a better one than Williamsburg now friday night we see what PBurg,Breathitt,Lex,Christain,Somerset,Clintwood VA only loss to Hazard so far this year, showes If Hazard dont turn the ball over they win Easy. If they turn the ball over like in all their losses 3 times or more it will be close, But I say Hazard 49 Harlan 14.

First why would you want to play a 1A team? Second,I'm sure the county will spare no expense to have the best coach money can buy. Third, if you got all that why do you get on the HHS thread and give the Dragon's a hard time? I mean it's kinda like pick on somebody your own size,isn't it?

look man, I will try not to say anything more on this thread but I was just stating what I was told by one of YOUR coaches....I don't care if you win or lose....before this confortation I had nothing against the city...actually I was for them but now...I really don't care if they win or lose.

Williamsburg wasn't suppose to beat Hazard last year. Wburg was picked 3rd or 4th in their district last year and started 13 freshman in their 22 starting positions.

Back door, can't you get along with anyone? First, our coach will be here as long as he wants to be. Everyone loves Larkey! It's not anyone's fault a lot of people would love his job. Good jobs draw good people but the Harlan crowd wouldn't know anything about that! Lastly, being down and still having a chance for the semi's means a pretty good program. Not bad if I say so myself. Let's just wait and couple weeks and see how it all plays out. Go HC!

If your county you do, might not admit it but it's true. Backwoods wouldn't give you water either so it's all good. It is what makes the world go round!

Is there a game somewhere on this thread? You wouldn't know it by just reading the last 15 or so posts. Harlan could go into Dog country and come out with a win, they have to play a complete clean game, NO TURNOVERS, NO STUPID MISTAKES, and play a more physical game and they could get the W, if they don't however it could be a long drive back across Pine Mountain.

I don't think Williamsburg was supposed to even beat Harlan last year. Williamsburg is pretty good, but I wouldn't even say they are supposed to beat Hazard this year. It should be a good game. We will see.
