All you Morgan county fans flat out kill me. Yea you have played some games with 3-4 starters sidelined with injury but who hasn't. Breathitt has against hazard and Somerset and still pulls off the W so please stop referring to how you have players sidelined

Altro Cat Wrote:Only way I see this getting real ugly is if Morgan starts the pre-game trash talk like last year. So many Morgan fans and players thought they could win that game and we see how it turned out. Being put in their place last year may keep em quiet this year but who knows.
I already heard brian Turner on his radio show I guess right before we played Jackson County talking how he was not looking for "revenge" from last years blowout but how they "WOULD avenge" last years loss to us.I couldn't even catch my breath I started laughing so hard. Then I went to watch them play in person when they played on a Saturday night. It was even funnier then what he said.

The only "big time" player they have out is Joe Holbrook and I hate that cause he was a good kid.

But, I have seen Morgan play and I thought it was pretty impressive. #9 Thornsberry is little ,but very fast and hard to catch when he gets loose. And if the 2nd string is that great, then the coach needs to save his 1st string for another game.
I watched them play Pendelton at Morgan on that Saturday. If poor Pendelton wasn't so pitiful they could have easily competed with Morgan.Thornsberry was fast but the keyword is WHEN he gets loose. He aint gonna get loose and if Coach takes pity then he will save em' for Belfry on Nov. 16th.

GW, Man you talk BIG buddy for a guy who never played football. You may call yourself a Bobcat, but it's simply because you went to BHS, not because you ever played. Our kids lost everything, their field, their fieldhouse/weightroom. They didn't even know if they were going to even get to play a home game this season. For these kids to overcome what they have, shows great character. These kids have been through alot worse over here then Breathitt rolling into town.

Cat Daddy Wrote:There is no way you can compare these two teams by the score of two common opponents they have both played. Breathitt would have hung one hundred points on both teams if they played all four quarters. Holcomb elected not to run the score up on both teams. Breathitt's starters played two quarters against Estill County and one quarter against Jackson with a running clock starting in the second quarter. As I have said before this game will be more competitive than last years game but Breathitt will still win by 30 plus points.
Do you not realize that Morgan probably pulled their starters as well?

Breathitt by a Bunch!! Hope Mike is in a good mood.

Breathitt has much more to choose from on their sidelines.

yes but if you look to the scoring summary it looks as if they pulled their starters going into the 4th Qr breathitt pulled their starters after their first touchdown in the 2nd Qr which was about 3 mins in. i love morgans story after all that has happened to them but their heavly out matched no matter what morgan county fans think. I give morgan credit for probably having one of the best teams they have ever had it takes alot to go undefeated for 7 or 8 weeks but they havent played anyone up to this point so its easy to say how good you are. Do you honeslty think morgan could go beat somerset at somerset then the next week go beat hazard at hazard?

I don't remember saying that I was a Morgan Fan...I am just commenting on what I have observed from differnet teams of different games...and does Breathitt have anyone sidelined for the entire season??
10-04-2012, 01:22 PM
Slantstrong is correct... Morgans team has been through a lot more than to worry about Breathitt coming to West Liberty. These boys show great character and I am sure they will walk out on that field with their heads held high... and hopefully I will make it to that game to see the outcome.

BC O-line will have to be very disciplined against Morgan, but I'm saying Breathitt by 2 TDs

Bobcats

I think it'll be close

Morgan is outmatched, Breathitt by as many as Holcomb wants.

I kinda relate Morgan County to Taylor County who started out 4-0. They then played a descent team and lost 57-0.

Nothing bad about the kids there. They try hard.Just stating the facts of what Brian said on the radio.

And BTW ;JSF;I was on the team as a Freshman then again my Senior year.Coach Holcomb and Coach Collins can tell you that.No matter what;once a Bobcat always a Bobcat.Even you. It's a great story about how the kids have overcome but my posts are for some of my friends over there that I go back and forth with and for a few select fans.I really hate it for one of your guys that he is out because me and his brother are good friends.I wish you all luck though and I hope that none of your people got on Facebook this season.I hope Brian speaks well tonight after the game.Firing up your team is one thing but firing up Holcomb and Breathitt Boosters is another.

Joe Holbrook is such a great young man and it rips my heart out that he can't play due to a season-ending injury. After all these kids have been through, I just want them to know I got their back.

I don't want anyone to think I am putting down or attacking Morgan Counties kids with some of my previous post. I for one am proud of what Morgan has accomplished this year. These kids have been through a lot with the tornado and all of the aftermath. I just feel like the Cougars are not on the bobcats level right now. It's not a knock on the kids it is just my opinion. I feel like Breathitt is a veteran team and they know how to win. I feel like the cougars haven't played a competitve schedule and for me it's hard to judge how good the cougars are. Morgan may prove me wrong and if they do I will gladly eat crow but I don't think it's going to happen this year. When the Cougars aren't playing the bobcats I root for them because if I am not mistaken the head coach and two assistants are from Breathitt. It is always good to see home grown boys go out and make a name for themeselves by building a football program. Good luck to both teams. Go bobcats.

I believe Morgan County wins by 7.
10-05-2012, 12:41 PM
Going with Morgan in a upset. Morgan by less than 6.
10-05-2012, 12:49 PM
Will there be an online broadcast of this game??
10-05-2012, 01:00 PM
Morgan County takes Breathitt County to the woodshed and opens up a can whoop butt on them. Breathitt then takes that can and stuff's it up Morgan's you know what!!!
I think Morgan County is a great team with an awesome story and I hope they prove me wrong, but Breathitt County is a pretty good football team playing a much tougher schedule than Morgan has. I like Breathitt by 28
