According to KHSAA only two teams in 4A have given up less points than the Lakers. Last year this same group of players led the state in turnovers forced. The Lakers have a solid Defense. We do sometimes seem to have a bend and don't break mentality which allows teams to gain some yards but not score many points. When you couple that with the fact that we lead 4A in points scored (331 through 7 games) we have proven to be a solid team. We will have a chance to make a deep run, but if we lose focus like we did last year we could come up short again. I don't expect focus to be an issue this year, because hopefully we learned that lesson the hard way!

It should be a great game I think the Britt kid is great
And the Canady kid is good
The Lakers has a kicker that you will probably see playing on Sunday someday
Defense want be the factor it will be a shootout
