panther nation Wrote:It's a good place to watch a game but the parking is really really bad. There isn't any good place to park and get out. Traffic will be bad, but don't let that stop you though. There should be two good games Friday.
The best place to park is on Roy Kidd Ave just across the bridge or on one of the side streets. Otherwise I would park over at the LL baseball fields. These places are easy to get out of after the game.

Saw Corbin last week, was not impressed. I'll take Perry Central.

I will take PCC by two touchdowns just because a good friend of mine coaches down there.

Lynn camps might want to come out to this game and see the living legend Dave Mitchell again. since he is a pcc now.

Gonna be a low scoring game

Coach Dave Mitchell is licking his chops!! I guarantee PCC Practices twice as hard this week. He hasn't played Corbin with a chance of winning in 40 years. He's a heck if a guy hope the best for him just not this week. Go Big Red!

Mitchells Missles will be firing at will this weekend on defense. I will say PCC 14 Corbin 3. Coach Mitchell gets some sweet revenge.

PCC wins 28-14

Corbin will have to open up the passing game to win Friday because Mitchell will have 10 in the box. If they bring a lot of blitzes, Corbin needs to throw to the TE and RB's, which could result in some big plays for the offense.
I wonder if they might give the freshman QB some reps if the starter isn't clicking.

Heard a 14th region crew was awfully tough on Clay officiating. Wonder if Perry gets a similar treatment on the road?
08-28-2013, 06:44 PM
Wouldn't be surprised if Corbin does get a little home cooking!!

Corbin wins easily.

You heard wrong.
Believe me, I love home cooking teams as much as anyone...
and Clay didn't get home cooked.
If they could move the ball or stay away from the line until the ball was snapped they would have competed in that game.

Why even bother arguing any more? Any time we win a game it's the same shitty excuse from (almost) everyone "Perry got home cooking wah wah wah". When in actuality, Clay just got beat by a better team. I would go pull up all the prediction posts but I don't feel like being that harsh this morning.
Also, go Dores. Beat Corbin. That is all.

I think Haddix finds a way to overcome the Redhounds and the zebras to walk out with a win.

Ill be at Corbin, no bad luck, on the Perry side watching the game friday, unless i change my mind and go to Berea.

Prayers go out to former Redhound Brady Foley.

Surprise, Surprise I'm going with the Redhounds!!! Waddle breaks out Friday Night.

Corbin's defense is fine. They will have a hard time putting points on the board if they don't figure out how to throw a little.

I'll admit it, we've home-cooked a lot of teams in APG...
But Clay County may have had three first downs before garbage time.
They threw it away, they fumbled the ball, they jumped offsides...
they did everything you don't want to do if you're looking to win a game.

Perry Cent. QB Napier may be out for this one with an shoulder injury.

Corbin by 6

Corbin is a great place to watch football. Their stadium feels like you are stepping back in time. Great atmosphere for high school football with the community support.

What are you gonna do when Taylor Waddle runs crazy on u?

Can't argue with that, but I don't believe it has ever affected the outcome of a game as a whole. As far as the Clay game goes you nailed it, they shot themselves in the foot so much there was no need to 'home-cook' anything.

Prayers for Brady Foley.
08-30-2013, 01:52 PM
Ill look at my options.
Drive 10 minutes to watch Corbin play against PCC which will be a good game.
Or drive over an hour to watch a 5 star back run all over us while we try to score without or our biggest offensive threat due to an injury....hmm.

Not sure if its true or not. But heard that pcc Qb won't play in this game due to an injury that happen at practice. Has anyone else heard about this??? Or is it a bunch of bs.

I'll be sitting this one out, boys.
Long day at work and can't make it in time.
I'll sound the cannon from home.
