You showed a random tweet from a source that has zero credibility. You proved nothing. And if thats how you get all of your info it just shows you are in the dark on everything and do not know anything that you speak about. Which for someone who is a mod is pitiful. Makes me wonder about the credibility of this fourm all together.

That's so untrue. I showed a specific tweet from a source you don't like. Makes me wonder if you have figured out which day it is yet.

Maybe if it was from espn, b/r or ksr it would be credible. Till then you just look desprate to seem right.

Hope he is back before the UK match up, so Louisville will lose that suspension as a reason UK defeats them...Go Cats!

I really hope Chane can get his act together. Honesly, we all knew he was a troubled kid ever since he has been at UL. Hence, thats why he has been suspended numerous times. He is still enrolled inclasses but isnt living in the dorm with the players. I just wanna know one thing from the close minded UK fans. Not all of you fit that description but a few do. Why does Cal never suspend his players? I respect this from Rick and UofL. Make an example of the kid. And dont even say our players are saints and never do anything worthy of suspension because thats bs. Tjones was intoxicated and involved in a wreck and fled the scene, thats a fact. Its a matter of opinion of whether or not he was driving that car. Well Tjones played in a game The SAME night. Yes all college kids drink and have a good time. But at any other University he would have been suspended

Looks like Pitino is already backing down on his word as he yesterday he said Behanan would be back with the team "shortly". Last week it was indefinite and would not be back anytime soon. Pitino is a great coach, but a pathological liar. It was obvious from the get go that Behanan would be gone only a short time.

No offense, but how do you know that it is a fact? Just curious because I'd like to know.

He was questioned by police shortly after and was not found to be intoxicated (as well as Stacey Poole, and the driver of the car) He left the scene because he didn't want to get into an altercation with the drunk driver that hit them while driving on the wrong side of the road.

Calipari actually does a great job controlling these guys. If they were running wild around the city there might be a couple of reports of it taking place. It's not a small town where things can be kept quiet.

I'm extremely disappointed by Jones' actions recently, along with Liggins but none of the players up to this point (while at UK) have warranted a suspension.

Behanan is more than troubled, he has been given a ton of chances but he keeps running his mouth and keeps doing the same things over and over. Pitino is no better than Roy Williams allowing Hairston to play this year.

Im currently on lunch break from class but I will find a link for it this evening. Tjones was intoxicated I remember that Im almost positive. You may be right though. Im sure somebody posted a link to it on here. I personally witnessed Doron Lamb Harass a girl at Logans roadhouse though and get escorted by cops. He was clearly intoxicated. Im not saying that doesnt happen everywhere though. Players at UK are far from saints though like alot of fans act.
And you are correct with Behanan. He is a huge talent that is about to throw it all down the drain. I hate to see kids waste it like he has. I read reports from that yesterday on Pitinos statement and from what I read it said he could Possibly continue with practices soon if he kept doing the right things. But he wouldnt play a game until mid december atleast and that was an ESPN report I do believe.

It would have been a much bigger deal if he was intoxicated. Even UK fans would have been upset with that.

Sorry to hear about D. Lamb, and question you on this but I could easily say the same thing about any UofL player if I wanted and it's one person's word against another's.

I'm not saying players from either team are Saints, just saying Calipari has done a great job controlling the egos and potential problems his players could present.

Calipari does a good job of keeping his players in line, or at least keeping their behavior out of the press. I'm sure a lot of people have a good Demarcus Cousins or Doron Lamb story that the press never bothered to investigate.

Most of the guys Calipari recruits are at Kentucky because it's a good place to prepare for the NBA. Those guys know the connection Cal has to NBA scouts and coaches and knows how honest he is with them. They don't want to screw their chances up.

Louisville is also a great environment to prepare for the NBA, but Pitino doesn't make that pitch. He sells the atmosphere, the college experience, the conference, and being the stars in a city without a pro team. When college kids feel like the city's top celebrities, they're under a bigger microscope.

Finally, is this isn't a knock on the Herald Leader cause it is a great paper. But the Courier Journal looks for this type of news all the time. The Herald Leader only looks for it when UK has a coach they want gone

If you think Louisville players are under a bigger microscope than UK's then I don't know how big it could get. There is no bigger microscope locally, statewide, or nationally than that of Kentucky. These players have no private life outside of their living quarters at all. If they go out they are hounded and watched non-stop.

RE: Herald Leader....If you think Jerry Tipton of the Herald Leader doesn't want Coach Cal gone then you've never read any of his stuff. He looks for the negatives constantly.

I worded that wrong, I meant for UofL's players, the magnifying glass gets bigger at UofL than where it already was. At UK, those guys have been under the same microscope since UK started recruiting them

And Jerry Tipton is one guy, CJ has a whole staff looking for juicy juice

Well like i clearly stated, kids from every team drink and have fun and enjoy their college days. I was excluding UL from that. Not sure why you question that about Lamb though. And I may be wrong on the whole jones thing. I just thought I remembered reading he was intoxicated. Its amazing at the stuff that stays out of the media and on the down low though.

Which means in non-Louisville talk: "He'll be re-instated to the team on December 27, 2013"...(the day before the Kentucky-Louisville game.

Also, I don't buy your story about Doron Lamb. Not only does he drink rarely, he is a gentlemen. Alot of people say they're gents, but Lamb truly is one. He would never drink enough to where he would think that was ok. It's just not true. But you are correct in saying that every team has one of those guys...

Just to make things clear about the Jones incident, I am a Junior here at UK. I've heard all the stories and even some stories the news media and you fans have never heard of. JONES WAS DRUNK!!! He left the scene because he didn't want the cops to know he was drunk, and he was trying to hide it from Coach Cal. And yet when the thing came up in the media all Coach Cal did was play it off, never even attempted to punish the kid. Yes he was under aged, if he had been driving would that had made the difference for Cal to do something? I am not saying it should of been a huge thing but for one game suspension...HELL YEAH!!!

bahahahaha bhahahahahahaha bahahahaha
Funniest thing I have read in a long time. Again I go to UK, I hear all the TRUE stories and have also seen the FIRST HAND. First for all the people that love Anthony Davis, he could be the biggest a** I have ever met, or any other word you can think of, then Teague, Jones, and LAMB all right behind him. That first team with Wall and Cousins had more class off the court then any team he has had at UK yet. I witness Jones and Lamb first hand belittle a worker at the JC because she wouldn't let them in to play. Well for you who don't know, the JC is the Johnson Center. It has a weightroom, rock climbing wal, basketball courts. Well you must swipe your student ID to get in, these two jokes with there ID's in there hands thought they were better then everyone else and refused to swipe there ID. WHY? I'll never understand this, just hand your ID over and she'll give it right back. But no, they thought it would be better to call her names and yell at her...some of there exact words was..."do you know who we are?".
#53
I don't know if UK just does a better job at hiding things or our players keeping most of the things they do away from Coach Cal knowing. Here is one fact, Nerlens Noel got drunk about 2 or 3 nights a week, he would then score with a random female student which he done more then he drank.

Just because one Louisville player get suspended doesn't show nothing about what kind of person or coach Pitino is or what kind of players he recruits. All I know is Coach Cal might bring in some great talent, but they're some of the worst men I have ever met in my life. I don't see how they do so well in the classroom, I know Anthony Davis got an A in a class he only went to about twice a month...even before basketball started and after it ended. I know UK has people on payroll in which there job is tutoring UK basketball players. That's all they do! After we won the championship, all those guys knowing they're going to the NBA...they just acted like school didn't matter and hardly ever went to class.
#54
Now I'm not saying that I hate UK, I love my school and I love our basketball team. I BLEED BLUE now and forever will. But I do have a better perspective on how these players think of themselves and actually think of us as fans. It's not as good as some of you actually think!!! I am now more looking at strictly how they play the game, how hard they play and how physical they play. I can't have a favorite player when I know how these guys are off the court.
#55
Nobody has brought this up but I just want to clarify this, if I start a long topic about this great because I won't lose. But before Coach Cal got to UK what was his record against Pitino? I am a UK, I AM NOT A Louisville fan. But no question Pitino is the better coach. Coach Cal never dominated C-USA until Louisville left and went to the Big East. Think about it at Memphis all Coach Cal could get was 1 top 5 or 10 ranked player because it's Memphis. We're UK, here he immediately could get 5, 6, or even 7 in the top 30...even up to 3 or 4 in the top 10. He can recruit at a bigger scale here at UK. He has such a bigger recruiting tool. Until he was able to get this kind of talent, he struggled against Pitino. You give both coaches the same level of talent, Rick wins 90% of the time.

Even when we won the championship my freshman year, we beat a Louisville teams that with about 4 minutes to go had the opportunity to tie the game and maybe take the lead. We were better at EVERY POSITION and even had a better SIXTH MAN. If Miller doesn't make that 3 pointer late I think Louisville would've took the lead the next possession. I thought that game actually showed how good Pitino was. They were better prepared than UK, but UK was just to good and to talented for them to be able to do anything.

Should hear why he got in trouble,, not the first time,, which wasn't good. But this last one. No wonder Loserville is thug U. But their fans push it aside as just good student athletes being teenagers. Nothing to see here move along.

Dont think any UL fan pushed it aside here. I clearly stated he was a troubled young man. But for Uk fans to act like their players are saints is comical. Chane needs to get his act together and realize the oppurtunity he has in front of him.

No,a player getting suspended doesn't show what kind of person Richard is. But his actions sure do.

dore20 Wrote:You come with that because you can not show any proof to support your earlier statement which is kind of petty, but no surprise really. However i believe Memphis being put on sanctions and having there Final Four season vacated the year D Rose played is proof enough I believe.
If your going to quote NCAA findings as proof then you can't leave out the part where cal was found to have no knowledge of the situation.
