Another running clock for the burg.
I really like your chances this year. You have 5 exceptional skill players in Griffith, Massey, Patrick, Lowrie, and Shelton.
But, you should know from last year, games are won (or lost) on the lines.
I wish you guys played a tougher schedule, to give us (and yourselves) a better gauge of how good you really are. Calpreps has your non-district teams as follows:
Newport #6851 in the Nation.
Halls #6855.
Pike County Central #6950.
Wayne County #7050.
South Laurel #8747.
Pineville #11688.
Harrison County #12660.
By comparison, Pikeville is rated #915, Mayfield #1335, and Beechwood #1600.

I like a tough schedule but I also think your schedule has advantages. I had a dream last night that you won the state championship so I think you will. :1::biggrin:

Pikeville has played #15, #47, #64, #80, and #92. Russell on Oct. 31 is #60.

You need to worry a out Beechwood. Williamsburg or Pikeville will be there if you can get by Beechwood.
