As far as the game goes the pressing team Doss should have more team fouls don't you think...There was a couple of bad calls but there always are, was hoping for better in a state tourney....
Quit blaming the refs then.

If you choose to, you can read all the posts that were made about Doss in the past few days.....about how unbeatable they were, ranked much higher, will beat Williamsburg by double digits, etc etc etc

The raw truth of the matter is that Williamsburg didn't just hang around...they took it to the Dragons. It was up in the fourth quarter before Doss recovered and took the lead.

If Doss was as good as some said they were, and those same people saying that Williamsburg hadn't played enough strong teams to compete........then the outcome would've been very different.

Had the Jackets not gone stone cold in the fourth quarter, it could've happened for them. BUT, not to be this year.

Personally I am very proud of the effort and skill level that Williamsburg took to Rupp this year!!

If you plan to be a groupie for Williamsburg baseball too, you will probably be in for a sad season. I believe they had only 4 wins last year. Maybe you can cheer them on to more victories this season.

According to news headlines, you guys need to rebuild the building. Otherwise, sounds as if they won't be in a safe environment nor get a quality education if they come to Williamsburg.

Called this one.
Congrats on the season to the Burg.

Williamsburg didn't win but they were the better coached team. Not impressed with Doss' coach at all.

Looked like he was struggling to get his players to do what he said. They kept throwing up those threes, and you could tell the coach was furious.

I did not blame them...

We have been to the finals and our coach has won a title. You guys can't even get out of the first round. Bye bye first round bounce.

Flash154 Wrote:It is amazing how people can see a game so differently. Doss had 11 fouls to Williamsburg's 4 late in the second half, and you guys are complaining about the referees. The charge by Griffith was obvious. Go watch the video. Williamsburg was shooting well until late, but Doss was definitely causing their own troubles by going to the three all night when it wasn't falling. Glad I can move on from my transfer issue with Williamsburg. Whitley should take over that rant. Lord knows there are about 10 of Williamsburg Middle School players from Whitley. I will leave that for Whitley to decide. I plan to only keep you people honest when needed.

what is Whitley going to decide?

after reading the latest newspaper I wouldn't brag too much on how your school is going.

I thought Williamsburg should have pressed them more.

Do you really want to keep score? I wasn't the one on here bragging about what a great school I have. In lieu of recent events, you shouldn't either. My school certainly has never had such problems as yours in recent weeks, as well as your next-to-last state test score ranking. My school may not be a sports powerhouse, but it is clean and the children learn. We also have never been in such a position as the other story involving the football program. It is sad that sports is all Williamsburg has to offer.

oh, when the shoe is on the other foot!!! Flash you are seriously dilusional, have you forgotten your athetic dir.? Seems to me, we all should think of "glass houses!!" Flash just go away!!! Your school has issues too and always has................... Your baseball coach must attract violence too.. Just hush or we can bring up more.

your school was once taken over by the state???? how we tend to forget!!! GO COLONELS!!!

If my school was Whitley, I would own it. I admitted on another post that my school is McCreary. Just because I don't like Williamsburg (because our players transferrrd) and Black (because my nephew played for him and he was a horrible coach), doesn't mean I am from Whitley. If I were Whitley, I would have had a lot more problems with transfers than I did. There are many more players from Whitley on Williamsburg's team than I had a problem with. I no longer care anything about what Williamsburg does. I said my peace, and I am done. Any further comments about that school will be strictly to give my opinion about sports just like this rest of you do. Sorry I didn't like your little school. As far as what I am saying now, you asked and I have answered. If you don't want a reply, stop asking for a reply.

the athletic director you are referring to is a Williamsburg graduate?

You are making a fool out of yourself bringing up things about Whitley. I don't care what Whitley does. They certainly did the smart thing by getting rid of Black. Other than that, I wouldn't know and wouldn't care.

Go back to whitley thread this is about Williamsburg and Doss game.

I didn't bring up Whitley. Your fellow Williamsburg buddies can take credit for that.
