Will Larkey stay at Perry Central?

Bully of 3A football with two or three states to recruit out of. Wow. Must be nice. Wonder why Alabama and Florida just don't run it every time? I'd hate to be the QB. You may have a potential D1 QB and he never gets the opportunity to throw a pass. But hey, winning is winning I guess.

I love the sarcasm:Clap:

The players are very young but the talent will be there in a few years.I,myself, hope Larkey stays and straightens this out.Perry used to fill the stands but not so much anymore.

I don't know Larkey personally, but I don't see him staying at Perry Central very long. There is little to no support from the administration, and everything in Perry County seems to revolve around basketball. PCC had an excellent "up and coming coach" in Haddix, but failed to give him the amount of support needed, to take Perry Central to the next level. Larkey is accustomed to coaching at schools where football has been the top priority, and I don't see him taking the backseat to other sports programs, especially at this point in his career.

I've known Tom for 30 + years and you could talk to him for a day and still not know what he planned to do. I see him Coaching until He wins 300 and then helping Chris at N. Laurel. Good Luck no matter what He choses to do.

I just don't see him bouncing around at this point in his career.
He only has a few years left in the tank and I would imagine he will spend it at Perry.

Retire Larkey, 300 wins wouldn't put him in the top three all wins category..
Phillip Haywood has how many wins?

Give Coach Larkey a couple of years to get things turned around. He can still coach but has to get the kids out to be successful. Perry does not need another coaching change. They could become South Laurel.
