Not exactly pal, I doubt if your panthers would want to have to play the Bears again, especially after they have had a chance to build a little more confidence!

Congratulations Black Bears. The better team won. I was impressed with the over all team effort by Harlan County, and they had the 2 best players on the field. North is in some trouble, as I can't see them beating Whitley County at Whitley next week.

I have been confined to home here lately, and I got to watch this game on TV. I couldn't even enjoy it I was on the edge of my chair the whole time.

Playing a soft schedule hurt you during district play. You need to play good competition if you think you going to be good. Playing cupcakes hurt in the long run

Agree Cuz, especially without the turnovers and 100+ yards in penalties.

I agree 100 percent! That's been a big problem for North. You don't get any idea if they can play or not by the non-district games they play, for the most part. When they play somebody that can actually play, the results are not good!

We will take it

I have never heard so much grumbling from the North parents !

people want to talk about teams that is one dimensional. go to Belfry ask them how being one dimensional working out for them. then go to Johnson Central and ask them the same thing.
didn't Harlan Co. made it to the state semi finale being one dimensional under Tom Larkey.

I agree that both Belfry and Johnson Central are predominately running teams. And you are correct in your last statement about the HC team going to state semis under Tom Larkey.

Everybody has their opinion about how to orchestrate a successful football team; whether or not to incorporate passing and if so, how much to incorporate.

Everybody is certainly entitled to their opinion but nobody is entitled to bash a coach for how they put together their teams. This is just my opinion but if you don't like the coach, don't play for him.
