As you can tell...we don’t know
#42
Valley defense is terrible they gave up 56 to a bad Portsmouth team they can't stop the run at all rams backs will go for big # and the rams o line will have a field day
#43
Valley use to be a powerhouse in football I wonder what hurt them the worse , wheelersburg or having soccer
#44
Knowing you don’t have a soccer program (and I hope Raceland never does) you figure you’d be trying to develop a kicker in a class at least every other year.

I’ve said that for years , find a young man in 7th grade every year or every other year stat working with him. It really baffles me how so many team don’t have a kicker

Damn...just seen the state rankings this morning! How bad is 4A football when Assland(Rams should’ve beat them) and Greenup, which we just beat down like the county sissy’s the are, are ranked #1 and #8 in that class? Hell class A’s top three would be in their top 6 easily. Its kinda sad

I keep reading about soccer hurting football, but some of the best football schools in the state have a soccer team.
#56
How big are those schools? Raceland graduates about 65 kids a class. Dont think the numbers would support a soccer team.

Teams such as Boyle County and Corbin have soccer teams but Beechwood, Hazard, Mayfield, Paintsville, Somerset are probably some of the smaller ones.

Saw the field for the first time today from the highway. Looks nice. Strangely I am not excited for the changes. The changes took away the charm and the character the old outdated bleachers and the track right on the field gave Ram Stadium. Hope the renovation doesn't take away from the atmosphere. Or maybe I'm being an old fart that doesn't like change. I shall see Saturday if I'm still in town.

the renovations were needed. the bleachers were in as bad of shape as the gravel garden and ring of death field before it was resurfaced. i see what u r saying, but once the fans get there, its the same feeling.
#60
I believe they were getting fined every year because the bleachers were unsafe and not handicap accessible
