Corbin too much for Bell.

I think it will be a very intriguing game and will not be a blow out. I don't think it will be a game like 3 or 4 years ago when I think Bell won 7-0 or something like that. I think it will be a high scoring game for both teams.

In the end Belfry wins it all.

I have been saying all year Bell is a lot better than people think. Having said that, I donât think they are as good as Corbin. It should be a closer game than people think but I see Corbin by a couple TDS. 3A is Boyleâs to lose baby.

I may take slack for this but I believe you hit the nail on the head. Bell is better, but I donât think they have what it takes to beat Corbin. Also 3a is Boyleâs as of today to lose. The only doubt I have in Corbin is can they learn how to respond when getting punched in the throat like Boyle and mayfield did them. If they learn how to fight from behind then they can play with anyone. Like in boxing take your knock out shots when you have them, but when you donât fight to win the round.

Boyle will be going into Pond Creek during the regional championship. Pirates have been quiet lately letting you all play this out.

I know, but that why I said today itâs boyle. Belfry defense still has to prove that can stop pass for me.

But the Dixon kid is playing real well back there, and his speed is leading to a bunch of yards after the pick.

Question for the Corbin fans on here: Do you think Corbin is better than last year, the same, or not hardly as good?

^Disagree!!
I'm not particularly a "Corbin fan", but if that kid with the collarbone injury gets back before the season's end, then Corbin is better than last year.
They may even be better if he doesn't return, but with his return they are absolutely better.

I agree also granny, we a better either way. We are crazy better when the goose is loose. He is a gamer, special type athlete. He is the type that shows up last day and is 110 percent ready, doesnât really train during off season cause he is playing other sports then takes a couple weeks off but when itâs game time he is ready. I have noticed more so this year he makes great in game adjustments, I have always been a believer in the game slowing down for players and before he got hurt it was in slo mo to him.

Last year team was good, Corbin won on the road to get to the state championship 2017 This year team Corbin will be at home for a chance to go to Kroger Field......Jury is still, out for me to answer that question :mop::mop:

I am a Corbin Fan. Lived here all my days. We are better than last year if healthy. Bell just needs to show up, expect good hospitality, we are going to let your coaches in the box, we are going to give you a locker room, we are going to shake your hand, last but most importantly we are going to hand out Kleenex to coach Hilton after the game. He wonât need to come to our huddle after the game and cause a stir like he did last year in the playoffs.
Side Note- I notice Bell fans calling out the Corbin assistants. Thank you. Our head coach spreads the wealth and wants to win. The Grumpy old man just wants his money, wants his wife a job, and wants ALL the positivity to be centered around himself.
Truth hurts, I know.

Question I see what your saying but if they donât make it to Kroger, are you saying there not as good even though as things stand today Boyle still wears the crown and will have to beat a much improved belfry team that lost an amazing wellman and others to get back. Beat a Boyle team to get there when Boyle was the team that beat them last year. I canât say that a loss means there not as good, I am hoping for a win without a doubt itâs this alignment deal thatâs could possible keep where it stands today a state championship game either in regionals or semi finals. That shouldnât take anything away from how good this team is and in no way am I discrediting the West bracket by no means. I am just using the east because of the past history of Corbin with Boyle and Belfry. Also Corbin will most likely have a physical game with bell, any of the four could go into semi finals beat up. This will be one tough regional weekend for all involved. If all stay on course and are semi healthy to get there.

Iâm not saying nothing I was just answering ArJay ( A Bell County fan ) I guess I should have said ( the same ) But I think this Corbin team has more offensive weapons this year than last year for sure. All Iâm saying again and letâs make this cleared. This Corbin team will be playing in week 15 at Kroger field ( Unfinished Business) and will beat Central in the final . Marked it down

Bell is a good football team. If you take them lightly or overlook them, you are making a big mistake. Their coach just finds a way to win whether you like him or not. He has been at the top and knows what it takes to get there. Some of the other coaches are good, but until they win it all, they are still pretenders. Corbin may win this first game at home, but if there is a rematch in the playoffs be prepared for a war. I saw Bell completely dominate a pretty good Casey team and with their youth they will only get better with each game.

If my memory serves me right, donât we do this with bell fans every game. Last year it was the same thing. The. The playoff game, same thing, bell didnât get 40 points better in a year while we stayed the same or whatever you guys want to think

you are right I don't know if we got 40 points better but we have got better and the 2nd time around we prevented a running clock which there was in first meeting so time will tell but we are better than last year for sure:Thumbs:

Plus we had the home field advantage when corbin put the running clock on us. Then went to corbin and improved greatly. We didnât leave corbin as embarrassed as we did on Log mountain FOR SURE. I see a really close game in this one because corbinâs explosive offense versus a very very hardcore defense.

I agree with backcountry. Bell is a good football team, better than expected by quite a bit. I've watched them both play this year and I honestly don't know how to call this one. I do expect Corbin to pull out the W but what kind of game this will be I just don't know. I could see this being a real slobber knocker or Corbin winning by 4 touchdowns. Bell has a lot of size everywhere on the field. Their quarter back is very elusive much like Estep but not quite the athelete. Frazier does a good job of staying tucked up behind that big line and getting to daylight while the other running backs are just stinking big with good mobility and Corbin has talent all over the place. This will be an interesting game and one I'd like to see.

If you think Corbinâs QB is a much better athlete than Bellâs you must have not watched Bell play. Now with that said Bellâs QB hasnât been asked to do what Corbins QB has so far this season

I didn't say he was a much better athlete, I said he's not quite (that doesn't mean leaps and bounds) the athlete that Estep is. I like Bell's QB and he looked very good, but Estep is just a little better. Again, not by leaps and bounds.

I have watched him play three games on Hudl and in all three combined he hasnât had a game like Estep. With that being said you must not have watched them both play. Your qb is athletic but not as much as Estep and there is no comparison in arms. Yours may have advantage in top speed but he lacks in power. I was also with wondering does your jv and varsity share jerseys or some play both?
