Both boys look to be ok. One of them has a lot of broken bones, and a little internal injury, but nothing that is life threatening. The boy in more severe shape looks to be ok, but is gonna have quite a bit of time to recover as he was busted up internally, but the people at U.K. are working and have made both these boys there primary concern. Thank you guys for all your prayers. If anything happens, i'll let everyone know.

Thoughts and prayers from Redneck, hope the boys have a speedy recovery.

NOW, about that game. How will this accident effect the outcome of this game. You know the Shelby Valley players are gonna go out there and play even 10X harder for the boys involved in the wreck.

yeah they will play harder for these boys, but both boys started on varsity, one was the center and the other was an outside linebacker. Thoughts and prayers go out to them and their families

Isn't it funny how all through the year schools are bickering with each other but when something bad happens they all pull together like nothing is wong and they are the best of friends. Goes to show that our young people in our area are class acts and know when to cut the crap off and show what they are made of. Here in the mountains we care for our brothers no matter what school they come from or the $$$ that they have. Bet these big city bros wish the could say that. Look at all the different schools that have sent prayers out for these 2 boys. Good job you all way to show what mountain families really do when in need.

We will be praying for the Sv community here from Russell.

God is good all the time and He has proved that once again! Glad to know that the boys are going to be okay. i got a little teary eyed while reading how many different schools are praying. #1 kids in the mountains! i agree with the thread about how wonderful it is to see everyone put everything aside and pray for these boys and come together for the good. again GOD BLESS!!!!

Thanks for the update. Never under estimate the power of prayer! This part of the prayer chain is coming from North Carolina.

10 pm. Sunday, Cory is still in ICU but doing better. Did some temporary work on his jaw today. Still has a long way to go. Anthony is in a regular room and is doing good considering what they've been through. Keep them in your thoughts.
