I don't think you'll find any City Boys on Boyle's team. Just a bunch of country boys that play smash-mouth football.

All Boyle has to do is score two touchdowns and they win. This is the best defense Boyle has ever had including those 5 state championships in a row. Boyle has a running back who is unbelievable have fun trying to tackle him. Then they have the D 1 tight end or wide reciever how ever u want to look at him. The best reciever on the whole team is probably number 15 I believe they have scoring threats all over the field.

I assure you I know plenty of the game of football. And actually, "?" (question mark) is a type of puncuation...to be used as the puncuation after a question is asked, not to be used as a word. So, maybe you should have listened better.
What year is Boyle's running back?

I believe that he is a junior.

Thanks. I hear he's a dandy.
I believe the nail-biter with Knox will help Bell tremendously. That's the first time they had been behind and they were down with 5:00 left in the game.

They are very good, but did you see those state champ teams??? They were big and nasty. They ran to the ball like no other. This team is very good but those teams were great. They beat everybody by 50. I understand being from Clay you don't see much defense.

I.M.O. this is not the best defense Boyle has ever had a very good one.
The first year they beat Rock was a great one.

I will agree with this. Those teams had the likes of Jacob Tamme, Brody Overstreat, Matt Quinn, the Lephew brothers. Could have been the best teams in the state in all classes. This Boyle team is very good but I will agree it is not in the same class as those dominant past teams. Boyle is the dominant team in 4A this year by far. Bell has beaten Whitley and Knox Central twice.
Boyle has beaten Lexington Catholic twice, Henry Clay, Danville, Lafayette.
Bell has not seen the likes of a Boyle co.
11-30-2008, 01:01 PM
Boyle 14-7
11-30-2008, 01:22 PM
The great thing about beating Lex. Catholic twice this year, other than the fact it is Lex. Catholic,
is that LC only lost to 2 other Ky. teams. Highlands and St. X
I sure hope it doesn't snow on Log Mountian Friday!!!! Go Rebels!!!!!!!!!

This one will be a low scoring game.

i'm gonna take Bell County since i'm a fan and there the under dog supposely! Bell County plays there best win there label as the under-dogs. Bell will play better on D. They should get the ball in #7raines hands more that kid is a speedy and a playmaker.

This will be a good game, but Bell needs to give the ball to someone else besides Greer, he is not that good and the only reason he is getting the ball all the time is because Dudley won't stand up to Tom Greer and tell him they are going to let someone else run the ball... But anyways if Bell plays Defense against Boyle like they did against Knox, they will lose..

Bell Mom,
Now thats something very classy to say about Spencer and his dad. Bell is undefeated this year. I do believe Dudley knows how to coach. The man is a legend. Greer is a **** of a player also. You are one game away from the state championship and you want to put a kid down that is probably Bells best player. Real smart thinking genius. Maybe you should change your name to JEOLOUS MOM. GROW UP!

This is a team....lots of weapons....I agree that we might have run Spencer a little much Friday night....he appears to be nursing ankle more than thought....but he is the proven back on this team. When he is healthy...he is the best. Matt Simpson needs more carries and should take some of the load off Spencer. These Seniors have paid the price for three years...and some for four...in their starting positions. Underclassmen will have their day next year. These next two weeks .....are for all the marbles...and we don't want it to end for these boys this Friday night. Let's get behind our Bobcats and Coaches and take down Boyle....not each other!! AAAAHHH!!!

How is Bell the underdog supposely??? Both teams are 13-0 and the game is at Bell!! Poll is 50/50 as of now.

Key word in all of this is SENIORS! Get them on the field and use them all and they will win. If they don't then they get to live with it. Coaches and underclassmen have next year.
Mom - everyone has an opinion and if you want to talk about coaches fine they deserve it but when you talk about a kid talk positive or don't talk at all!!!!
Bell will do what they have to do to win.

I have to disagree, he is a very tough kid and has carried the load for 3 years now. It is not fair to get on here and down grade somone's talent especially your own team. When Greer is healthy he is one of the better backs in EKY and the state.
I think he is still hurting more than most know. Maybe a good week to give someone else the lion share of the carries. This week could be it no need to save someone for next week when next week might not come. I feel confident that Coach Hilton and the Bell coaching staff sees that as well.

Bell Wins Its 24-17

This should be an interesting game...maybe the game of the week in KY. I'm a BC fan but really have no idea what to expect. There are no common opponents. I would have to say Boyle played a tougher schedule than Bell but it appears both play very good defense. Question for Bell Co.....have you played any teams that are balanced in run/pass?
