Rather you find it offensive or not its still illegal and a slap in the face. If they were being respectfull to their own country then they would have flown it at equal height. Ignorance is no excuse.

The flag part is an offensive act. The Japanese-Americans cheering for Japan in the World Baseball Classic is not to me. I wasn't exactly saying they were ignorant, just that I figure they were angry about something at the school and did something like that as a way of sticking their middle finger up at the school or a group of kids. I'm not trying to say it was a good or smart thing to do no matter the motive.
