6a- ok i know this is a strech but im going out on a limb and saying either trinty or st xavier wins the title this year lol
5a-Should be tough but i say Highlands reloads
3a-Belfry, Breathitt, Louisville Central enough said
2a-More competitive than people thinks expecially here in the mountains but i look for either pburg. mburro or corbin to go deep into the playoff and lose to Newport Central Cath and Fort Campbell to win the title
4a- This is a class that seems a little top heavy to me with Bell Co. and Lexington Catholic
1a-Beechwood..... then everyone else

Trinity made the boys sweet 16 in 03/04 when they lost to Mason Co in triple OT in the second round.
St X. hasn't been in quite some time. They simply aren't a basketball school.
Highlands would walk through 4A too...none of those schools listed can compete with Highlands year in and year out. See last year as a perfect example when Highlands beat Lexcath 41-0 during the regular season and the year before when they beat LC 32-9 and LC ended up winning the state title.
Boyle County beat Highlands twice in 2003 and Lexcath beat Highlands once in 2005...other than those two years, neither has beaten the Birds this decade. 5A is much more competitive than 4A.
Christian Co and Johnson Central both likely would have won the 4A state championship this past year over Bell Co.
Christian Co may have beaten Bell Co but Johnson Central would have beat them.

I agree....Johnson Central was tough this past year. That high powered offense was really something to see.

JC had a good team but Bell County was better. I am glad those 2 teams are playing this year so we will find out just who is.
