Top Player in the 14th in 2010?

When he is on the hill.....Breathitt can beat anybody!

Right on. He made believers out of a lot of people at the 14th regional Tournament last year. A couple of breaks the other way in the Hazard game, Breathitt rides Ritchie to championship game.

Slone is a great ball player. Also Of course you have to throw Gus Wise and Taylor Fagin in there...only two juniors from the 14th to make the East/West Junior all star team.

Breathitt had 2 8th graders starting not sure of a names, very good players, the infielder hit the ball very well during regional tourn., heard left kid was very good pitcher, long years for anyone in their district.

IMO Fagin is the best in the 14th.......Letcher has so many great players: Sexton, Watts, Kincaid, Adams, and Smith, but they just couldn't put it together last year........ Hazard has some very good players as well; Mehan and Slone are fun to watch....... PCC tops are probably Ahworth, Amis, and Mullins....... Knott has some solid players Potter is the best, King is good to, they're a real team though as they do it with no really "great" player but a bunch of solid nitty gritty type players...... I really love baseball in the 14th cant wait till Feb.

I was very impressed with both Cox and Hamilton when we played them in the Region. These two are going to be special players in the years ahead.

Very good list. Not much else to say other than this...

I think Boggs at Perry Central is from Breathitt as well. Breathitt would be scary good if they could have held on to Boggs and Creech to go along with Cox, Hamilton, Ritchie, and Terry. I don't know what else they have, but they would have been scary good with the names I listed.

I don't know if he is a top player this year but he could be in the future. He really hasn't had time to mature into his body. He really could be a good pitcher if he will work to be better.

They was one out away from beating Hazard, and having a chance to go the regional finals. It is still a bad taste in there mouth. I am glad they are playing fall league right now. Who all are they playing in the fall league?

With Creech always living in Wolfe Co., I can understand him choosing to play there. But, why did Boggs leave Breathitt Co? Didn't he play for Jackson City as an 8th grader? Does he still live in Breathitt? You're right, it would have been a pretty strong team if all had stayed/played at Breathitt.

Yes Boggs did play at Jackson city as a eight grader. Beat Breathitt 3to1 in the Dist. He went to PCC becuase of the teams they play Breathitt plays a little weaker season. And yes he still lives in Jackson.

Add Coach Napiers son Tanner (Lafayette Jr. standout athlete) to that team. Now how good does that look.

mullins is a very good player... didn't have the greatest year last yr due to battling sickness for most of the yr.. imo he could be at the top of the list by the end of the season

I totally agree about throwing Gus Wise in the mix. Kid is a great ball Player.
