Nope, but Mr. Laker did!

It can be debated all day, and some might not think Jordan was/is the greatest, but a large percentage of players, media and fans do, some more educated on the game that others, and it gets past stats. Such as in baseball, Pete Rose has more hits than any player in the game's history, but other than Charlie Hustle himself, I don't know anyone who would say that Rose is the great player, even the greatest hitter, in the history of baseball. More than stats play into it, that is for sure. Kareem was incredible, Wilt was dominating, Bird was a leader and Magic was a freak for a point guard but Michael was simply the best in my opinion many others who know the game much better than I agree.

Only stats Jordan Jockers care about is his per game scoring average and his NBA titles. Nothing else matters! I don't know how many Basketball games I have watched that came down too one or two key rebounds or a blocked shot, Kareem gets 13,000 more blocked shots and rebounds combined than MJ, but according to MJ jockers they don't matter! MJ gets guarded by scrubs and he plays matched vs very few HOF players at his position, Kareem is matched vs a list of HOF guys a mile long, everybody from Wilt to Hakeem, these are guys that Kareem guarded or was guarded by and it still doesn't matter to MJ Jockers. Star Duck claims MJ changed but the NBA is begging for 7 foot centers. MJ Jockers claim every NBA legend has MJ as the greatest, I guess DR J , Scottie Pippen or Bill Walton don't count as legends! I watched those key games in the videos when MJ was getting all the calls! Those games were the same as fixed! Jordan Jockers admaze me!

Jordan faced many, many great players at his position from the beginning to the end of his career, and I will try to place as many as possible on here, just mostly though players he matched up with most of the time, not all of the greats he played against that played different spots on the floor than he did. Here are some I can think of that were pretty good players:
Clyde Drexler, Dennis Johnson, Chris Mullins, Byron Scott, Joe Dumars, Kobe Bryant, Reggie Miller, Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, Darrell Griffith, John Starks, Derek Harper and Allen Iverson were just some of the off guards he faced up against and many nights he had to go up against some great wings as well such as Dominique Wilkins, Bernard King, Mark Aguirre, Larry Bird, Adrian Dantley and many others as well. Jordan was one of the first in league history, if not the first, to record over 200 steals and 100 blocks in a season, so he had his share of blocks, especially for a player who was not a post player. And yes, I think his points and titles are stated a lot, but that makes sense because championships at the end of the day is what it is all about for the great players and Jordan was 6 out of 6, getting three peats twice and winning the MVP in all six. It is not like I am the president of the Jordan fan club or anything and I am for sure not anti-Kareem. But I just think that when it is all boiled down into the facts and the majority of fans, media and great players say that it is Jordan who is at the top of the basketball mountain, I feel comfortable being in that spot with them. I will say this though, I do agree that Kareem, who was Lew Alcindor at the time, was without a doubt the greatest college player of all time. If I am correct he was what, 88-2 or something like that at UCLA and forced the dunk to be outlawed in an effort to slow him down in college. Awesome player, no doubt about that.

Bernard King was a 3, Larry Bird seldom guarded a 3 which MJ was not, he was a 2, DJ guarded MJ most of the time, and he was a point guard. Reggie Miller was no defender and SOFT. You named a list of small forwards an point guards! Drexler, Dumars and Griffith are about the only 2 guards on the list

I am not trying to convince you, no more than I think you are trying to convince me. We will just have to agree to disagree, I feel good about the company I am in. Have a good day.
