I am just relaying what I read on a Harlan County Football app. So I guess everybody needs to start preparing for our Air Raid and not worry about our running game. Just sayin.

New Harlan Middle had a tough running back who really beat Pikeville up in the KYMSFA regional title game last fall, as well as some other talented kids. Sometimes you can plug the freshman in and they'll start playing older by the time the games start to matter. Against us, it seemed like Larkey fed #28 a little too much and not enough Whitehead & Massey. Personally, I would've stuck 'em in a bone with Cole Wilson at HB and made other teams eat the ball from every which direction for 4 quarters!

Brutal schedule coming up for HC. What does the district look like for them next year? I know Pulaski and Southern will be favored in the region. I could see next years team ready to take a run by the end of the year.

Larkey has thrown the ball in the past, WHEN HE had the people to do it. He has not had those type of players at HC to do it. Coach Larkey will do what makes his teams the most competitive.

I don't agree with you William. Cole Wilson was an outstanding receiver, and our QB could throw well. There were a couple others that were better than average receivers, too.

I'm not saying Larkey was right or wrong, he just prefers the run. And HE is the coach, not me. Whether he chooses correctly in my opinion, or not it doesn't make a hill of beans. I would/will support him no matter what his choices are.

It's the same schedule we had last year, I believe. The only change is that Greeneville, TN and Johnson Central will both be homes games. We will travel to Belfry this coming year.

I will say it again, by far the toughest schedule in this part of the state. Somerset has a tough one as well, considering they are 2A.

I think this year in the Roy Kidd Bowl we play Bryan Station instead of Madison Central. Not for sure though.
