Dudley is about to lose his first game to Whitley.
Should be an emergency room afternoon running clock.
The Dudley effect will probably keep it closer.
I hope that Bell secondary is ready.
Whitley defensive line better be after two weeks.

Bell County should have a hard time defending the Colonels. Hopefully Whitley County has made improvements on defense.

The secondary for bell will be the reason they win this game. Everyone expecting a loss, these guys will come to play and the colonels will have to wait another year to beat Dudley

You may be right but 1-4 1int 1td, 11-19 1int 1td, 3-11 1int 1td. In 3 games against 3 teams I believe Whitley is better than. I'm not sold yet. Pass pro will be key for Whitley. Good protection will equal completions. If whitley can't stop the run look for another Rock type score.

I'll take Whitley based on Gut, Dougie, and Granny Bear's predictions.

Bell will run about 5 backs tomorrow night. Wear down that Whitley D quick.

I definitely know more about football than you do if you think Bell County has the better team.

The backs will be on defense trying to run Whitley County receivers down .

They better bring a fire truck with them too

I'm saying close game throughout, but Whitley has too much offense for Bell this year and pulls away by 2 tds.

That is usually what I have my w visions on. I always look to see what 64 is predicting as I'm sure they do. It's called the circle of life.

I don't think Bell has the rushing offense that the Rock does. Going with Whitley by 14.
09-15-2017, 01:03 PM
Don't think bell can slow down Wilson, I hope Whitley beats the brakes of bell. That being said Whitley better be able to stop the run tonight. Food for thought for all the bell people if ole dud carries a L back to flag mountain that will be his first time doing so will anyone admit that they are not still there against a quality team. I am not being a jerk but all everyone has heard since he came back is that now your a district champion team when in reality the coal market isn't what it once was and the talent pool isn't there for him to have a champion caliber team.

Why all this lack of respect towards Hilton and the Bobcats? In my eyes they've done nothing but improve. Last years staff would be 1-2 on the season by now, they are 3-0!! I honestly think if they win tonight they will go 9-1 only losing to Corbin on Friday the 13th! Not saying they have the toughest schedule in the world, but can't fault the kids for taking care of business.

Last years staff was 2-1 with a much tougher schedule. Same as ole Did would have been if they went back to Boyle. Maybe they were 2-2 at this time. They dropped Wayne Co.,they dropped out of that Boyle match up. Sorry facts are facts

You still didn't come any where close to answering my question, but I'll respond anyways. Bell was 2-1 last year at this time.. I'll compare the schedule and results for everyone to see.
2016 Bell County:
Week Zero - @ Middlesboro (Won 34-18)
Week One - vs Mercer County @ Boyle County (Lost 48-18)
Week Two - vs Pike Central (Won 49-30)
2017 Bell County:
Week Zero - vs Middlesboro (Won 42-21)
Week One - vs Letcher Central (Won 28-7)
Week Two - @ Pike Central (Won 47-26)
I wouldn't call either schedule challenging by no means. Besides Mercer demolished Bell last year and ole Dud took them right down to the wire with a sub-par Taylor County team losing 28-20. I couldn't care less about Bell county and I'm really not trying to defend anyone, but you mentioned facts are facts so I wanted to crunch the numbers myself. Honestly it just seems like a lot of cheap hate and jealousy towards the ole Dud. Just my opinion.
I can tell you one thing, I don't want my Redhounds going to log mountain in October thinking this is going to be like the same team they played last year. That's a FACT!
09-15-2017, 04:04 PM
You forgot Bell dropped Wayne Co where they were open last week. You said last years staff would have been 1-2 . I don't think that would have been the case at all. They both would have been 3-0.

If old staff was still here, we would be 0-3. After tonight we will get all the attention we need..
Middlesboro was a bigger game than this one (Whitley). Our boys are biting at the bit to get ahold of the Colonels tonight.. Dud has been in this situation to many times and has left Williamsburg field a happy old man.. Colone fans will be disappointed tonight.

I think every team in the state has a new schedule this season as it was the beginning of a new two-year cycle. Corbin has an entirely new one besides whitley and mayfield. Contracts are signed and exchanged well before the end of the fiscal year, I would say the new staff had no say-so in it. Not trying to go back and forth, Rock, I've just seen a lot of trash thrown Bell county's way on here and I have a hard time understanding why. Like i said before, I don't wan't my team underestimating them.
09-15-2017, 04:14 PM
Let me say this, I don't care what Friday night Corbin rolls to Log Mountain or what month, Corbin will beat them soundly. As much as Haddix wants to.

Red Hounds open so (Bobcat only 4 years) feels the need to trash the old coaches. Hey most are still on staff.
