I've noticed that.

I don't think ashland is doing it intentionally by any means...but it is a novel idea that a coach oflow moral fiber could use and probably get by with it.

Cough...John Chapman...Cough
#93
2nd and 15, taylor for 3

3rd and 12, predictable passing down.. pass for Taylor off the mark. 4th Down. Sack on 1st Down was huge.
#94
Wellman's punt downed at A 30
#95
It's pretty nice to listen to a stable feed of the game. I've tried both and they're both good. Q95 for Pburg games is bad.
#96
Massey bottled up for a yard at most, 2nd and 10
Elam across the middle incomplete, 3rd and 10
Elam pressured and completes it across the middle to kennedy. 4th and Short
#97
Pirates have to burn a critical timeout because they could not get personnell lined out.
#98
Ashland brings out the offense...long count..Pirates stay on sides....Timeout Ashland
#99
Would love to see this game with both teams star backs in the game.

Saylo fakes being hit, shanks the punt.

Belfry ball at 45.
4:45 in 4th
21-14 Ashland

Carr for 1, 2nd and 9
Robinson 4 on counter, 3rd and 5
Warren play action hits Huddle for 40 yards TOUCHDOWN BELFRY
Sani is playing his butt off..he is getting pounded and has kept the Pirates in the game with his feet and his arm. Major credit to Warren.

TIMEOUT BELFRY

XP pending
back to back years these two teams have brought it down to the wire.
Lets see if they can surive the curse of Putnam now...
... and it strikes on cue

No good.

3:37
Ashland 21
Belfry 20
Gonna take something special here.
Those two timeouts Belfry used in past few minutes loom HUGE
Regardless of how this game ends it is exactly the preparation the Pirates need for Nov.

There goes my pickem score of 24-21 Ashland, I was hoping for the XP and game winning fieldgoal by Ashland.
Ashland for about the 4th time tonight fumbles a kick and is able to fall on it. 1st and 10 at 28

Agree 100%...they have shown me a lot minus Johnson and Hatfield in the backfield.

Gain of 3, 2nd and 7. TIMEOUT BELFRY

Oh no that was not my intention....... but it sure has killed the Pirates at times tonight....
My predictions on belfry special teams this weeks looms huge. They gave up a long return, they missed an XP, and they have their lone Turnover on a muff.

Young for 2, 3rd and 5
Massey breaks it on the sweep and Belfry lets him score it (as if they had a choice)...56 Yards TOUCHDOWN ASHLAND
While the Tomcats may win this. Would have been smart to down that and not score the TD.
Barring a successful 2 Point Conversion..Pirates still have life
2:36 to go in 4th..XP pending

Currently 27-20 Ashland

I was screaming get down as soon a he got the first down.
XP is good
28-20 Ashland

Well valuable experience coming up for Belfry if nothing else... 2:00 drill with the game on the line
Great game and a gutsy performance by both teams to overcome freak injuries to their star rushers. Definitely think both teams grow leaps and bounds from this game.
sounds like a slobber knockin good time
Ball on B32
2:44 to go

Sani be smart... keep your eyes up field and don't be afraid to scramble

Complete to Messer and out of bounds after 16 at 49, 1st and 10
