The difference in this game will be Somerset's experience vs Prestonsburg's youth. Somerset has a lot of playoff experience on their roster, and last week proved they know how to win close games. This will no doubt be a close game, and I feel Somerset's senior leadership will be the deciding factor in this game. Somerset wins 35-21. Good Luck to both teams!!!

I have not seen Prestonsburg play this year, but follow them every week through texts....I hear every time they score!! I thought at the first of the year that it would be a long season for the Black Cats, but around the Betsy Layne game time; things changed.

This team has continued to improve, and I see them to be a real threat Friday night!! There are so many variables...weather, injuries, home field advantage etc.

I like both teams; love both fan bases, but I'm going with Pburg (that okay????) for the win in a close game!!

Most people Coaching, will tell you nothing can replace experience. Somerset has 17 Sr.'s They have won 3 regional Championships going for #4. These Seniors had not lost a district game until this year. If experience means what most think it means, then Somerset will win this game. I think they will find a way to win this game, just like last week against a very good Middlesboro team. Go Jumpers!!

"Pburg" is OK. "Prestonburg" and "Prestonsbug" are equivalent to "Harlam County" (:biggrin: ). I think I was the one who caught the mistake, but didn't exactly "blast" you for it (or at least, didn't mean to come off that way).

Somerset was very good in 2012, clearly they lost too much this season to go 5-4. 17 seniors should have propelled you to 8 to 9 wins. Pburg is not very impressive with a 5-5 record with a very soft schedule. No quality wins and some bad losses.

I'll take somerset 35-7.
